K–6 Magnet Program
Kankakee School District 111 families are invited to apply for our K–6 Magnet Programs. Students must live within District 111 boundaries to apply and are selected through a lottery process (not first come, first served).
Application Window: February 24 – March 10

What to Know:
Siblings of current magnet students receive first priority.
Families may select up to four magnet choices.
If a program fills, a waiting list will be created.
Offers are sent through SchoolMint and must be accepted within 48 hours.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025.
After accepting a placement, families must complete Skyward registration within two weeks (summer registration).
