20-21 Fall Opening Informational Slideshow
August 19, 2020: Students will be expected to check-in beginning August 19th for Learning Anywhere, Anytime. Every building will have a different plan based on the size of the spaces in the building and the ages of the students. You must contact the building administration if you have specific questions after Monday’s Board meeting.
September 7, 2020: Flexible schedule for students on remote and blended schedule. Students needing “full-time in building” will receive support from the school district in partnership with community agencies.
Each building will have a specific building plan for face-to-face Instruction on a flexible schedule. Teachers will have specific hours for face-to-face instruction based on educational and social emotional needs of students.
Kankakee School District 111 Administration and School Board will reevaluate this plan at the September 28th board meeting for possible implementation of a permanent schedule (Phase 4 plan) for the Second Quarter. Decisions are made based on the needs of students/families, CDC/IDPH, Governor’s Office along with Illinois State Board of Education.

On June 16th at 5:00 PM, Kankakee School District will be hosting a Webinar to provide information concerning the Fall Semester 2020 Plan. Please find the links below to Register for the Webinar and a link to Submit Questions you may have that may be discussed during the Webinar.
Kankakee School District 111 administration in collaboration with KFT has been creating a plan to open schools based on the shelter in place requirements and any change that may be made by Governor Pritzker. Kankakee School District will design the details around the plan during the summer.
