Maintenance Department

The Kankakee School District Maintenance Department supervises and facilitates the general upkeep and operations of the eleven School Buildings and Grounds in District #111.  Including, but not exclusive to the following services:

Building repairs                   Custodial services                  Pest control

Lawn Care                            Snow removal                         Athletic fields 

District #111’s Maintenance staff include Carpenters, Painters, Electricians and Plumbers from the Building and Construction Trades Craftsman Union.

KSD 111 full time Custodial staff is supported by the SEIU local #73 Union.
